The Bone Gouge offers a wide array of surgical benefits for orthopedic surgeons. These benefits come in handy for harvesting bone grafts and removing diseased bone tissue.
For this purpose, the instrument features a trough-like blade supplied with a concave outline. Moreover, the blade has a terminal semi-sharp cutting edge for removing bone without injury. As a result, surgeons can scoop diseased and cancellous tissue for biopsy or grafting.
