The Walter Bone Osteotome brings multiple advantages to the operating room. These advantages are especially useful during rhinology surgeries that require bone cutting.
For this purpose, the instrument has a double-beveled working end supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade is available in different sizes, ranging from 3.0 to 12mm. As a result, surgeons can divide and perform bone petalling in the small bone surfaces of the nasal cavity.
In addition, the device features a solid, round handle equipped with a smooth surface. Also, the handle’s bottom comes with a circular flat platform that receives careful mallet impacts.
