The Castroviejo Synechiae Spatula offers multiple surgical advantages to the ophthalmic surgical staff. These advantages come in handy to treat synechiae adhesions with ease.
For this purpose, the instrument comprises a versatile double-ended design. Moreover, one end features a 10mm semi-sharp spatula tip, and the opposite a 15mm one. The surgeon performs clean cuts to the synechiae and switch between tips according to the size of the adhesions.
In addition, the device includes a solid, flat handle with horizontal ridges over its surface. This particular feature enhances gripping and minimizes finger strain.
