Gently retracts or displaces the uterus to shift it into view for surgery or gain access to other organs.
In addition, the smooth edges of the instrument allow atraumatic handling of the uterus. The blunt tips also prevent piercing injuries.
The tips have wide fenestrations that minimize organ contact to limit tissue damage.
The instrument is available with angled tips, ideal for different anatomical needs. The two tips on each end also helps surgeon achieve ideal handling of the uterus.
In addition, the uterine depressor has a hollow broad handle for secure grip.
