For this purpose, the gouge features a narrow, concave blade supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade is available in multiple sizes, ranging from 6.0 to 16mm in length. As a result, surgeons can scoop cancellous tissue from laminar bones in different vertebrae.
In addition, the device features a solid, square-shaped ferrozell handle. This particular design provides a strong gripping and minimizes the risk of slippage.
