Description
The Atkinson Retrobulbar Needle offers various surgical benefits. Its principal use is to irrigate retrobulbar anaesthesia to gain akinesia of the extraocular muscles.
For this purpose, the instrument features a 23 gauge straight tube, which’s outline is ideal to reach the retrobulbar space. In addition, the bevelled bore helps to inject anaesthesia with precision to regionally block the temporal nerve.
Moreover, the Atkinson Retrobulbar Needle features a bottom hub that attaches the tube to an irrigator system. Also, its square-shaped design allows exceptional handling and avoids slippage.
