Cuts skin, cartilage, fibrous tissue, dead tissue as well as sutures.
Especially includes flat blades that ensure clean dissection planes. The slice clean through tissues without tugging or tearing them.
In addition, the smooth outer edges of the blades slide through structures easily. This along with the blunt tips prevent soft tissue damage.
The operating scissor also has angled shanks. These work to improve visibility of the surgical field. The instrument is angled before the joint to improve precision of dissection.
