The Akahoshi Nucleus Sustainer provides a wide array of benefits for ophthalmic surgeons. These benefits come in handy for performing cataract surgery.
To this end, the sustainer comes with a ball tip. Moreover, the tip has a blunt design for accommodating the lens nucleus on its surface. After that, the operator can perform the pre-chopping technique and fragment the nucleus.
In addition, the sustainer features a tapering shank with two angles. Also, these angles permit access through the narrow spaces in the anterior segment.
